Privacy Policy for WealthSenseAI

Franceschi Industries ("we," "us," or "our") operates the WealthSenseAI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.

Information We Collect

WealthSenseAI is a stock portfolio tracker with AI-generated insights. The App does not require account creation and does not ask for personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or brokerage login.

Portfolio Data Stored on Your Device. The holdings you enter (ticker symbols, company names, number of shares, and average cost) are stored locally on your device so the App can show your portfolio. We do not keep a copy of your portfolio on our servers.

Data Sent to Our Server for App Features. Some features send data over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a server we operate (hosted on Vercel):

• Live prices: the ticker symbols in your portfolio, to look up current quotes.
• Add Asset: the company name or ticker you type, to identify the stock.
• Smart Paste: the text you paste (for example, positions copied from a brokerage statement), to extract ticker symbols, share counts, and average costs.
• AI Audit and Watch Mode: your holdings (ticker symbols, number of shares, average cost, and current prices), to generate buy/sell/hold signals, news insights, and suggestions.

Our server uses this data only to produce the response you asked for and does not store it afterward. As with any network request, your device's IP address is visible to our hosting provider while the request is processed and may appear briefly in standard server logs, and it is held temporarily in memory to rate-limit abuse.

Advertising Data. The App displays ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain information from your device, including:

• Advertising identifier (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• IP address and approximate location (derived from IP address)
• App usage and interaction data related to ad delivery

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and certain U.S. states), the App asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown.

How AI Features Use Your Data

To power Add Asset, Smart Paste, and AI Audit, our server forwards the data described above to Google's Gemini API. We use Gemini's free service tier, under which Google may use the content submitted to improve its products, and that content may be reviewed by people, as described in the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service. For this reason, please do not paste account numbers, names, addresses, or other personal information into Smart Paste — only the positions you want imported.

To give the AI current market context, our server also retrieves stock quotes, company fundamentals, and recent company news from the Finnhub market data service. Only ticker symbols are sent for these lookups; none of your share counts, costs, or other portfolio details are included.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Show current prices and the value of your portfolio
• Identify stocks and import positions you paste
• Generate AI-based portfolio signals, insights, and suggestions
• Display and measure ads within the App
• Help prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your portfolio data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements and requesting consent where required. See https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Gemini API — for AI features (stock lookup, Smart Paste, and AI Audit). See the Gemini API terms.
• Vercel — hosts the server that handles the App's feature requests.
• Finnhub, accessed through a server we operate on Cloudflare — for stock quotes, company fundamentals, and news, looked up by ticker symbol only.

Not Financial Advice

Signals, target prices, and suggestions in the App are generated automatically by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not investment advice, and Franceschi Industries is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Your Choices

• Your portfolio: you can edit or remove holdings in the App at any time. Clearing the App's storage (Settings > Apps > WealthSenseAI > Storage > Clear storage) or uninstalling the App deletes all portfolio data from your device.
• AI features: Add Asset, Smart Paste, AI Audit, and Watch Mode only send data when you use them. You can track your portfolio without using them.
• Personalized ads (Android): Settings > Google > Ads > "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization," depending on your Android version. You can also reset your advertising identifier there.

Data Retention

We do not retain your portfolio or the content of your requests on our servers. Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained only for a limited period under that provider's policies. Data sent to the Gemini API is retained by Google under the Gemini API terms, and advertising-related data is retained by Google AdMob under Google's own retention policies.

Security

All communication between the App and our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit what leaves your device to what each feature needs.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
